An incredible day of impact!

On Saturday, July 26th, the Lend A Hand Foundation proudly hosted our 26th Annual Stay in School Packing Event!

Thanks to the dedication of our incredible volunteers, we packed 6,500 backpacks with essential school supplies for students in need, bringing our total to over 13,000 backpacks distributed so far this year! Each backpack is carefully prepared to help students start the school year feeling confident, equipped, and ready to succeed.

We extend our deepest gratitude to every volunteer, sponsor, and supporter whose generosity and commitment make this possible. Your contributions empower students in our community to learn, grow, and thrive, and we couldn’t achieve this impact without you!

On behalf of the entire Lend A Hand Foundation team, thank you for attending our 26th Annual Stay in School Awards Gala and for your continued support of our mission. Celebrating 26 years of one of our most impactful initiatives gave us a moment to reflect—not only on the accomplishments of our organization, but more importantly, on the countless lives we've had the privilege to touch.

Our organization's name, "Lend A Hand Foundation" is widely known to represent our organization's efforts to uplift those we serve, but just as importantly, it reflects the compassion and generosity of supporters like you—those who have stepped in, time and time again, to lend a hand when it was needed most.

This work is not done alone. It is a true community effort, upheld by every corporation, organization, department, business, and individual who has joined us in making a difference.

Good Morning,

What a wonderful Saturday, bringing joy to families by providing turkeys and trimmings! So many organizations came together to spread joy throughout the community—it’s truly inspiring to see what we can accomplish together.

Our hearts are undoubtedly full of gratitude this morning, knowing that these collective efforts are making such a meaningful difference in the lives of others. And this is just the beginning—there’s more to come! For Lend A Hand, this effort began our 25 Days of Giving!

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing volunteers, who braved the rain with unwavering dedication to give their time and energy. Your generosity and spirit make all of this possible! Of course, we cannot forget those who made getting the turkeys, trimmings, and more possible. We will do that individually soon. Thank you Kaiser for the great bags and Target for prep work. Dee's unwavering dedication to enhancing the quality of life for underserved children, youth, and families in Oakland/Alameda County through our mission of providing educational support, financial literacy, and promoting health and wellness has not gone unnoticed. Her tireless efforts and commitment to making a positive impact in our community have truly made a difference, and we are privileged to have her leadership at the helm of Lend A Hand Foundation.
