Lend A Hand Foundation Back to School Giveaway

The Lend A Hand Foundation is approaching its 8th Annual Back to School Giveaway.  It is our goal to adopt elementary and middle schools to reach at least 5,000 to 7,000 youth including youth in homeless shelters and other agencies needing support.  Each youth will receive a backpack filled with school supplies.

A stuffing event will happen on Saturday, August 23.  Please review the information below as to how you can help to make this a reality.    We need the support of wonderful people like you who too are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of our inner-city youth. 

Lend A Hand is working on several avenues to raise funds to make sure at least 5,000 youth are provided with school supplies.  Here are several options on how you can partner with us on this very worthwhile cause.

ADOPT A SCHOOL SPONSORSHIP LEVELS

  1. Adopt a School Sponsorship - $6,500+ = over 750 youth.  This level of sponsorship will provide a backpack for each youth filled with school supplies.  Your support will be recognized as a sponsor on all materials.  Your company banner can also be placed at the event.
  2. Adopt a School Sponsorship - $5,000 – 500 to 700 youth.  This level of sponsorship will provide a backpack for each youth filled with school supplies.  Your support will be recognized as a sponsor on all materials.  Your company banner can also be placed at the events.
  3. Adopt A School Co-Sponsorship - $3,200 – will provide support with another sponsor to accommodate at least 750+ youth with a backpack and school supplies.  Your support will be recognized as a co-sponsor on all materials and at the school and stuffing event.
  1. Backpack Sponsorship

The estimated cost for each backpack is $5.  For $2,500 you will provide approximately 500 youth with backpacks; $1,250 will support approximately 250 youth.  Your name or company will be recognized throughout the event and distribution.

  1. Supplies Sponsorship

The estimated cost is $8 per bag to cover the supplies.   For $4,000 you will provide supplies for 500 backpacks; $2,000 will supply 250 backpacks.  Your name or company will be recognized throughout the event and distribution.

  1. Other support

Or you can elect to make a contribution of $100-$500 - which will be used to purchase supplies.

Whatever amount of support you can provide will be greatly appreciated.   Remember your
support is tax deductible.  To meet our supply ordering deadlines, make your donation by July 15, 2008 .
